Located at the south end of the town of Colorado Springs, Fort Carson is a 138,000-acre military post that is recognized as one of the world’s premiere locations to lead, train, and prepare soldiers. There are no private residences on Fort Carson, only barracks and on-post housing. However, the Fort does have a very large commissary, large exchange, mall and four specialty shops.
